Creative evening of People's Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine Maria Stefiuk.

The singer and the National Honored Bandura Band of Ukraine named after Heorhiy Mayboroda performed the following works: Ukrainian folk songs arranged by Mykola Hvozdy "The Pine Burned", "Red Rose Rose", "And a Girl Had a Dream from the Night", "I Walk Through the Meadow", "Oh You, Moon", "Mala Mati Donyu", "Yak Poyeh Miy My Little One Went to the Mill", "Don't Ask Why My Eyes Are Crying", "She Driven Ducks with Reeds", "Unharness, Guys, the Horses"; "Ancient Song" by Stanislav Lyudkevych; "Yak Ya Hay Rabala" Ukrainian folk song arranged by Bohdan Drymalyk; "Elegy", "Trampled Path" and "Oh Three Wider Paths" arranged by Yakov Stepovy.

Reference: Maria Stefyuk is a Ukrainian singer, lyrical coloratura soprano, People's Artist of the USSR, Hero of Ukraine. Since 1972, she has been a soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine, since 2000, a teacher at the Kyiv Conservatory. She performed on the stage of the La Scala Theater, performs leading parts of the world and Ukrainian opera repertoire.
