Military operation to liberate Mariupol

On June 13, 2014, Ukrainian security forces launched a successful operation to liberate Mariupol. The battle lasted several hours. During the assault, Ukrainian forces eliminated the enemy's key strongholds, destroyed their equipment, and regained control over all captured buildings, including the city council building.
