On June 1, 2020, Myroslav Skoryk, an outstanding Ukrainian composer and musicologist, Hero of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine, Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine and Mykola Ostrozky Republican Prize, died. Myroslav Skoryk wrote the music for the films "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors", "High Pass" and "Geese and Swans Fly".
