Description: Teodor Popescu and Svitlana Kolyvianova were soloists of the Kharkiv Lysenko Opera and Ballet Theater, People's Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. In 1973-1974, the dancing couple toured the Bolshoi Theater of the USSR in North and South America and Italy. The Popescu-Kolyvanova dance duo is a legend of Ukrainian ballet.

The plot is dedicated to the art and documentary exhibition “The Sky of My Childhood”. The author is People’s Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Kutkin. The exhibition is on display at the National Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War (now the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War), Kyiv.

Volodymyr Kutkin: exhibition “The Sky of My Childhood”

Mykola Pymonenko: the largest exhibition in Kyiv

Chernivtsi State Television and Radio Company, 2003, the program ‘Bow to Melpopena.’  The program is about Bukovyna and the artists of Olha Kobylianska Chernivtsi Regional Music and Drama Theatre.

Regional State TV and Radio Company “Ltava,” program “Amulets,” 2007. The program is dedicated to Ukrainian tile making. They talk about the development of the industry, production, and symbolism in tiles.

The video features a commentary by Valentyna Skryl, a researcher at the Ivan Kotliarevskyi Museum, and Oleksandr Babenko, a lecturer at the Department of Fine Arts and Cultural Studies at PSPU.

“Amulets” program: Ukrainian tiles

Radio program in the evening studio “Lira”, November 22, 2007. The program is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Kharkiv State University of Arts, named after Ivan Kotlyarevsky.

The studio's guest is Maryna Cherkashyna-Gubarenko, a former graduate, Doctor of Art History, and professor at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy. They talk about the institution's founding teachers, its school of composition, its foundation of music education, and its connection with the Union of Composers.

The program features fragments of works by prominent alums and teachers of the university.

The program is directed by Larysa Potapenko and hosted by Alla Vyshneva.

90th anniversary of Kharkiv University of Arts

Lviv, April 29, 2006. A story about a painting by icon painter Luka Dolynskyi, which was considered lost.

Reference: Luka Dolynskyi was a Ukrainian painter, portraitist, and icon painter. He is considered a representative of Baroque, Rococo and Classicism. His most famous work is the portrait of King Lev Danylovych in the Basilian Church in Lviv.

The Chernivtsi TV and Radio Company's program is “From the Tree of Life.” The topic is the art of Bukovyna: archaeological finds, embroidery of Ukrainian folk costumes, weaving, and wickerwork.
