Reference: Mircea Lucescu is a Romanian football player and coach. He spent most of his playing career at Dynamo (Bucharest), playing as a striker. As head coach, he made Romanian clubs Dynamo and Rapid, Turkish Galatasaray and Besiktas, as well as Ukrainian Shakhtar and Dynamo champions. 

From 2004 to 2016, he coached Shakhtar (Donetsk), with whom he won 8 Ukrainian championships, 6 Ukrainian Cups and the UEFA Cup in 2009. On July 23, 2020, Lucescu returned to Ukraine, signing a contract with Dynamo. He was the coach of Kyiv until November 2023.

The third most decorated coach in the history of world football. In 2015, Lucescu became the fifth coach in history to lead a club in 100 UEFA Champions League matches. Reference: The 1992 Ukrainian Football Championship was the first championship of Ukraine after gaining independence. This season was a transitional and exceptional one - it lasted only six months. This happened because the last USSR championship ended in the fall of 1991, and the Football Federation of Ukraine decided to hold championships on a fall-spring calendar to synchronize them with most European championships and the European Cup season.
