Reference: The song ‘How can I not love you, my Kyiv?’ is one of the most famous musical symbols of the Ukrainian capital. It was written in 1962, with lyrics by Dmytro Lutsenko and music by Ihor Shamo. This lyrical composition, which extols the beauty and spirit of Kyiv, was granted the status of the city's official anthem in 2014.

The program includes works by Niccolò Paganini, Felix Mendelssohn and others performed by the ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" and violinists Maksym Stepanenko, Oles Symchuk, Andriy Belov.

Reference: Bohodar Kotorovych is an outstanding Ukrainian violinist, conductor and teacher, People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, laureate of the Shevchenko Prize, founder of the ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" and one of the founders of the modern Ukrainian violin school. His creative activity combined virtuoso performance of classical and modern repertoire, world-class pedagogy and active cultural diplomacy. Kotorovych has educated a whole galaxy of world-famous musicians, glorifying Ukrainian art on the international stage. The maestro is the only Ukrainian who has twice performed on the legendary Paganini violin Il Cannone, specially delivered to Kyiv from Genoa, which became a symbol of recognition of his unique performing talent.

Reference: The Boris Lyatoshynskyi Classical Music Ensemble is a Ukrainian professional artistic collective at the National House of Organ and Chamber Music of Ukraine, established in 1964 under the direction of Viktor Ikonnyk. The collective performs masterpieces of world choral classics from the Renaissance to the present day, including "High Mass" by Johann Sebastian Bach, "Messiah" by George Frideric Handel, "Elijah" by Felix Mendelssohn.
