Reference: Bohodar Kotorovych is a Ukrainian violinist, conductor and teacher, People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, founder of the ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" and a representative of the Ukrainian violin school. He performed classical and modern repertoire, combining concert activities with pedagogical practice and training of professional musicians. He is the only Ukrainian who twice performed on the Il Cannone violin, specially delivered to Kyiv from Genoa.

Reference: The Ukrainian State Academic Folk Choir named after Hryhoriy Veryovka was founded in 1943 during World War II in Kharkiv; the founder and first leader of the collective was the composer and choral conductor Hryhoriy Veryovka.
