Reference: Boris Oliynyk is a Ukrainian poet, publicist and public figure, one of the leading representatives of Soviet and post-Soviet Ukrainian literature of the second half of the 20th century. Reference: Ivan Karpenko-Kary's comedy "Vanity" is one of the key socio-psychological plays of Ukrainian drama of the early 20th century, in which the problem of careerism is sharply considered, loss of moral integrity and alienation of the intelligentsia from the people. The play exposes the destructive power of vain ambitions on the example of the Barylchenko family and at the same time raises the universal theme of the degradation of human relationships under the pressure of social success.

Reference: In Ivan Mykytenko's comedy "Solo on the Flute", the main character, graduate student Hryhoriy Yarchuk, strives to make a career and get married, using adaptability, cunning, intrigue and betrayal as a life strategy. With the help of an “assistant,” he quickly masters the space of the institute and obtains a position, but, guided by the principle of fierce personal struggle, he gradually destroys all human ties. The play is a satire on careerism and the moral chaos of the 1930s.
