The documentary film is dedicated to the life and creative path of the poet Olena Teliga.

The film uses the texts of letters and poems by Olena Teliga, as well as fragments of journalistic articles: "To the Problem of Style", "Strength Through Joy", "Party of Life", "Open the Window!", "Brotherhood to the People!".

Reference: Olena Teliga is a Ukrainian poet, publicist, literary critic, and active member of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists. In 1941–1942, she headed the Union of Ukrainian Writers in Kyiv, edited the literary and artistic weekly "Litavry" at the newspaper "Ukrainian Word", and participated in the activities of the Ukrainian underground. In February 1942, she was shot by German occupation troops in Babyn Yar.

Ternopil Television, 2005. The program "Without Heroes, There Is No Nation" is dedicated to the Ukrainian political figure Yaroslava Stetsko.

Oksentiy Kameniuk, a member of the Main Wire of the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists of Ternopil, tells about the life of Yaroslava Stetsko.

The program used video materials from the photo and video archive of the regional Board of the All-Ukrainian Brotherhood of OUN-UPA Soldiers "Lysonya".

Reference: Yaroslava (Slava) Stetsko is a Ukrainian political figure, journalist, member of the Wire of the OUN, head of the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Peoples (ABN) and the fifth head of the OUN(b) in 1991–2001. Co-organizer of the UPA Red Cross, the OUN Women's and Youth Network. After Ukraine gained independence, she headed the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists party and was elected three times as a People's Deputy of Ukraine.

Yaroslava Stetsko "Without Heroes, There Is No Nation"

2014, Volyn television. The program “The Unsolved World of Yosyp Strutsiuk” from the series “Outstanding Volynians”. The program is dedicated to the Ukrainian writer of the sixties, Yosyp Strutsiuk.

In the video: a park, the Lesya Ukrainka Museum in Kolodyazhne, books, a library, landscapes of the village and nature, an interview with Yosyp Strutsiuk, archival photos and videos.

Reference: Yaroslav Kendzyor is a Ukrainian politician, journalist, dissident, People's Deputy of Ukraine of six convocations. One of the active figures of the Ukrainian national movement of the late 1980s — early 1990s, a member of the People's Movement of Ukraine. Participant in the publication "Ukrainian Herald", a public opponent of the Soviet regime. In 1991, he became the only one who had a video camera with access to the Verkhovna Rada and recorded unique footage: the proclamation of Ukraine's independence and the introduction of the blue-yellow flag into the parliament.

A conversation about preparing for and participating in festivals, the composer's own songs, and performers, including Volodymyr Ivasyuk and Vasyl Zinkevych. The program includes fragments of songs composed by Ihor Poklad and performed by various singers.

Reference: Ihor Poklad is a Ukrainian composer and opera director, author of more than 150 songs, musical performances, and scores for more than 40 Ukrainian films and animated movies, including “Like Cossacks...” and “Aeneid”. His songs are included in the repertoire of most famous Ukrainian pop artists.

He is a Shevchenko Prize winner (1986) and People's Artist of Ukraine (1997). In 2021, he was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine, and in 2024 - National Legend of Ukraine.
In 2014, Poklad underwent several complex surgeries. In 2022, he survived the Russian occupation of the town of Vorzel in the Kyiv region, where he and his wife lived in the basement for weeks. He was later evacuated along with other residents of the town.

Ihor Poklad died on July 9, 2025, at the age of 83.

“The Magic Violin of Igor Poklad”

The video features the program “Visiting Les Taniuk”. It tells about the family, life and work of the artist. There is an interview with his wife Nelli Korniienko.  

Reference: Les Taniuk was born on July 8, 1938 in the village of Zhukyn, Kyiv region. He died on March 18, 2016. He was a Ukrainian theater and film director, a member of the Sixties, a professor at the Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television, Honored Artist, People's Artist of Ukraine, Member of Parliament of Ukraine, and head of the Memorial Society. 

He is also a member of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO and chairman of the All-Ukrainian Committee for the Preparation of the Nuremberg-2 Trial of the CPSU-CPSU for the Crimes of Totalitarianism. 

Les Taniuk: theater and film director

Reference: Lev (Levko) Mykolayovych Revutsky is a Ukrainian composer, teacher, musicologist and public figure, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, Hero of Socialist Labor. A representative of the national composer school, a student of Mykola Lysenko and Reinhold Glier, author of symphonies, concertos, piano and choral music. He developed the traditions of folklorism, created numerous arrangements of folk songs, edited the works of Mykola Lysenko.
