In the video, the mother of prisoner Orest Kolyada tells about her son's return, his story, the exchange, and the moment she received the news of his release. 

There are also interviews with Svitlana Kolyada, the soldier's godmother, and Solomiya Lukavetska, an organizer of peaceful actions in support of the families of prisoners of war in Sokal. 

Reference: Orest Kolyada, 22, was one of 115 defenders who were returned from Russian captivity on Independence Day.  The young man had been in captivity for over two years. His mother Oksana learned that Orest had been released during her speech at a rally in support of missing persons and prisoners of war. Orest Kolyada served in the 35th assault brigade. He was captured near the village of Vremivka, Donetsk region, on April 30, 2022.

On September 24, 2024, several explosions occurred in Kharkiv. The Russians launched anti-aircraft missiles in the city. Four districts were shelled. Guided aerial bombs hit two residential high-rise buildings in Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts of the city. As of the evening of that day, 35 people were reported injured.

Three waves of KAB strikes on Kharkiv on September 24

On the morning of September 4, 2024, the Russian army attacked Lviv with “shaheds” and rockets. There were a series of explosions in the city. More than 180 buildings in the historic part of Lviv were damaged. Seven people were killed. More than 60 people were injured.

Lutsk, August 26, 2024. 

Explosions were heard in the city during an air raid alert. Two residential buildings and an infrastructure facility were damaged. One person died - an 83-year-old man. Six people were injured.

Kherson was the only regional center that Russian troops were able to occupy during a full-scale war. The city was under Russian occupation from March 2, 2022 for more than 8 months. On November 11, the Ukrainian military entered the city.

Reference: On March 9, 2022, after weeks of bombardment, the Russian military seized the Snihuriv community. After eight months under occupation, the Ukrainian army liberated the town on November 10, 2022.

The video features an interview with Volodymyr Butenko, a retired lieutenant colonel and journalist at the Khmelnytsky Regional TV and Radio Company. 
 
In 2022, at the age of sixty-nine, Volodymyr became a volunteer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is a third-generation officer. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he learned about the need for artillery training and joined the Twenty-third Separate Special Forces Battalion under the Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky Presidential Brigade. His son, grandson, and son-in-law also serve there. 

In November 2022, he and his battalion took up combat positions in Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, and Druzhkivka. In two years, Volodymyr Butenko trained 180 artillerymen.

Graduated from the National Pharmaceutical University in Kharkiv, majoring in clinical pharmacist. Until 2015, he was a student, worked as a doctor in a hospital, engaged in boxing and wrestling. From January 26, 2015, he was a soldier of "Azov", a participant in the Pavlopil-Shyroky offensive operation, a defender of Mariupol, decapitated.

For reference: On October 10, 2022, Russian troops launched the first massive missile strike on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, as well as the largest missile strike on the entire territory of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The Russians used air-, sea-, and ground-launched cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, anti-aircraft guided missiles, reconnaissance and strike UAVs.

The shelling killed 23 people and wounded 105. As of 11 a.m. on October 10, 11 important infrastructure facilities in 8 regions and the city of Kyiv were damaged as a result of the strikes.  Some regions are without electricity. Ukrenergo reported that there may be power outages in some cities and towns across the country.
