Chernihiv Television. The 2007 edition of the program "Chernihiv Region in the Life of the Famous" is dedicated to the history of creativity and life of the People's Artist of Ukraine, bandura player Valentyna Parkhomenko.

Reference: Valentina Parkhomenko is a Ukrainian bandurist, People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1979). She performed as part of the bandurist trio "Dnipryanka" of the Kyiv Philharmonic, and participated in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident. She is an active member of the Chernihiv Fellow Countrymen in Kyiv society.

Reference:  Oleksandr Halunenko is a test pilot at the Antonov Aviation Research and Development Complex, Assistant General Designer for Flight Issues, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Hero of Ukraine (awarded the Order of the Golden Star No. 1).

He was the first pilot to fly Mriya. For setting 110 world aviation records in one flight on the AN-225 Mriya, Oleksandr Halunenko's name was entered in the Guinness Book of Records. In total, during his career, the pilot set 263 world records, 234 of them on the AN-225.
