The first page. Romantic - Ivano-Frankivsk region. Olha Floreskul sings a lullaby and bathes her daughter; mountains, village, a girl singing a lullaby.

Second page. Educational—Chernivtsi. Oksana Savchuk, solo vocalist of the folklore duo Pysanka, tells about the folk traditions of the Ukrainian family, and together with the cymbalist Ivan Kavatsiuk, they perform lullabies.

Third page. Lyrical - Chernivtsi. Representatives of Ukrainian pop music: Zoya Slobodian, Lyuba Bilash, Oksana Tymoshchuk, Oksana Savchuk, and Svitlana Denysenkova sing lullabies.

Ukrainian folk lullabies

Chernivtsi TV, program “The Living Word”, 1993. The program tells the story of the life of Olha Kobylianska, a writer, representative of modernism, and a fighter for women's rights.

Speakers: poet and head of the Olha Kobylianska Literary and Memorial Museum Volodymyr Vozniuk; Ukrainian living in Romania Maria Popovych; Olha Hlukhaniuk tells about her communication with Olha Kobylianska; student Natalia; writer Mykhailo Ivasyuk.

Olha Kobylianska: life and work

August 20, 1992, Chernivtsi Regional State TV and Radio Company, program “For the sake of truth and memory...” dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army. 

The video shows a solemn celebration in Kyiv and throughout Ukraine, meetings with UPA soldiers, discussions about the role of the UPA in the fate of Ukraine and interviews with people, prayer services for the fallen insurgents, commemorations, and the reburial of Cardinal Josyf Slipyj's ashes in St. George's Cathedral in Lviv.

50th anniversary of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army

Participants of the OUN-UPA liberation movement and members of the Bukovyna Kuren share their memories of the Ukrainian underground, the formation and functioning of the kuren, and the struggle against the Bolsheviks.

The video shows a regional congress of OUN-UPA members, a demonstration of the flag, comments by the commander of the Bukovyna Kuren, Colonel Petro Voynovsky, the repressed Oleksandr Vershkovsky, the head of the OUN-UPA brotherhood in Bukovyna Sviatoslav Melnychuk, UPA soldier Dmytro Tomniuk, and others.

Memoirs of Bukovyna political prisoners

Chernivtsi TV and Radio Company, program “Reflections on the Secret,” 2007. In the program, the head of the OUN-UPA Brotherhood of Bukovyna, Sviatoslav Melnychuk, tells his path and the history of the struggle for independence.

The program uses fragments from the film Executed Dawns, the documentaries Harvest of Despair and The One Who Awakened the Stone State, and archival materials from the Chernivtsi TV and Radio Company.

Reference: Mykhailo Ivasyuk was a Ukrainian writer, literary critic, teacher, public and cultural figure, and the father of Volodymyr Ivasyuk. He was born on November 25, 1917, in the town of Kitsman. In 1964, he began teaching at Chernivtsi University at the Department of Ukrainian Literature. For his writing, he was awarded the Dmytro Zahul Literary Prize (1992) and the Sydor Vorobkevych Literary and Art Prize (1993). 

Mykhailo Ivasyuk died on February 5, 1995 in Chernivtsi. He was buried at the Ruske Cemetery. 

In 1998, the Chernivtsi Regional Scientific Library was named after Mykhailo Ivasyuk.

Chernivtsi region, 1977. The video shows the construction of the city of Novodnistrovsk, as well as the hydroelectric power station of the Dniester hydroelectric power station. There are interviews with builders. 

The material is in Russian, partly without sound. It contains signs of propaganda.
