"Great-granddaughter of the great Kobzar", 1965 

Lviv Television, 1985. The film “Copper over the Bug” about mines in the city of Chervonohrad (now Sheptytsky) and in the Volyn region. 

The video shows the Western Bug River, streets, residential buildings, people walking in parks, Count Pototsky's palace, mine shafts, industrial buildings, a sanatorium-preventorium, motorcycle races at the stadium, flowers being laid at the monument to Soviet soldiers, and the awarding of miners from the Velykomostivska mine.

The program featured stories about: the return of Mayor Vasyl Kuybida to Lviv, his participation in the 7th session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Europe, which took place in Strasbourg; a meeting between outstanding students and scholarship recipients from Ukraine's higher agricultural institutions with officials; the last bell at boarding school No. 102 and school No. 54; an expanded collegium at the Regional Department of Justice; a debate between medical students and students of the Commercial Academy on the relevance of introducing insurance medicine in Ukraine; the opening of a neurological office; celebration of the All-Ukrainian Day of Publishers, Printers, and Book Distributors; preparation of the play “Uncle Vanya” at the Maria Zankovetska Theater; farewell concerts by singer Igor Bogdan; weather forecast.

Lviv Television, exact year unknown, possibly 1975. The film “Lviv Brand” about the quality of goods and labor standards of enterprises. 

It tells about the following production associations: named after V. I. Lenin, named after the 50th anniversary of October, the telegraph equipment factory, “Kinescope,” “Progress,” the Lviv conveyor-building factory, the diamond tools factory, the motorcycle factory, “Svitloch,” and the bus factory.

Interviews: Ivan Kochevich, general director of the V. I. Lenin Production Association; Kateryna Ryaskina, employee of the 50th Anniversary of October Production Association; Mykhailo Voronenko, general director of the Telegraph Equipment Plant; Oleksandra Sukhova, chief controller of the Kinescope Plant; Viktor Dobrik, First Secretary of the Lviv Regional Committee of the Communist Party.

“Lviv Brand”: product quality

Lviv Television, 1971, film “My Brothers, the Trees.” 

The video shows landscapes of the Carpathians, mountain villages, a working day of forester Yurii Myroniuk, local resident Tanasij Hryhoryshyn harvesting spruce trees, planting spruce trees, and forest animals.

The issue of the cycle program "Oranta" is dedicated to the history of the Krekhiv Monastery of St. Nicholas (the village of Krekhiv in the Lviv region).

The video: landscapes of the Lviv region, tells about the founding of the monastery, various plans of the exterior of the monastery complex, interior decoration, liturgy, miraculous icons of the Virgin Mary and St. Nicholas the Great.

The program uses materials from the research of art historian Volodymyr Vuytsyk.

Reference: The Krekhiv Monastery of St. Nicholas of the Basilian Fathers is one of the most prominent monuments of sacred architecture in Galicia of the 17th–18th centuries, founded in 1612 by monks of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Since 1721, it has been operating as a Basilian Greek Catholic monastery, known for its fortification architecture, miraculous icons and valuable monastery book collection. The complex is an architectural monument of national importance and an important spiritual center of the UGCC.
