Zaporizhzhya Television. The program "Living History of Zaporizhzhia" from November 22, 2004 is dedicated to the concrete foreman of Dniprohes Polina Shylo.

In the video: an interview with Polina Shylo at her home; she talks about her life, work on the reconstruction of Dniprohes, shows photos from her family archive.

Reference: Polina Shylo is a participant in the post-war reconstruction of Dniprohes, a foreman of concrete workers in 1947. In 1948, she was awarded the Order of Lenin for participation in the reconstruction work. In 2016, a street in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Zaporizhzhia was named after her.

The video shows the work to extinguish a fire in the regional infectious diseases hospital. It is night-time, and the fire and medical services are working to extinguish the fire, evacuate the victims and provide medical assistance. There are ambulances and the burned-out premises of the infectious diseases department. A person in a protective suit is providing hygiene measures to the firefighters.

Reference: On the night of 4 February 2021, a fire broke out in the intensive care unit of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital, where patients with COVID-19 were being treated. Four people died as a result of the tragedy — a doctor and three patients. A criminal investigation was opened into the fire, with investigators considering versions of fire safety violations and equipment malfunction.

Reference: Anatoliy Rekubratsky is a Ukrainian poet, prose writer, and journalist, member of the Writers' Union of Ukraine, and winner of the Mykola Nahnybida Literary Prize. His work combines lyrical poetry, civic journalism, and prose, and his works have been translated into many languages. One of his most famous songs is “Nepodilna Bulava” (The Indivisible Mace), created in collaboration with composer Anatoliy Serdyuk. In the 1990s, this song was played in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and during mass civil actions, in particular on Independence Square.
