Reference: Leonid Cherevatenko (1938–2014) was a Ukrainian writer, prose writer, screenwriter, film critic, and translator. Author of collections of poetry, plays, and film novels, including the screenplays for the films ‘Evening on Ivan Kupala’ and ‘The Stone Cross.’ He made a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture, combining literary creativity with cinema.
