Reference: Ruslan Androschuk (1980–2004) is a Ukrainian peacekeeper from Zhytomyr region, a machine gunner of the reconnaissance company of the 6th separate mechanized brigade. He became the first Ukrainian serviceman to die in Iraq: on April 6, 2004, he was mortally wounded during combat in the city of El-Kut.
