Reference: Vienna Art Orchestra is a European jazz ensemble, founded in 1977 in Vienna by composer and conductor Matthias Rüegg, who became one of the leading jazz ensembles in Europe and the official cultural ambassador of Austria. In the 1980s–2000s, the orchestra performed over 800 concerts around the world, released over 35 albums, and participated in international tours, including in Ukraine in the 1990s.
