The missile attack on the village of Hroza on October 5, 2023, was the most deadly in terms of casualties during the entire period of the full-scale invasion of Kharkiv region. 59 people were killed, including an eight-year-old child.

The village of Hroza is located in the Kupyansk district, 35 kilometers from the front line. The explosion occurred on October 5 at 13:24. The Russian military hit the premises of a shop-cafe with an Iskander missile, where a wake for a fallen soldier was taking place at that time. Last year, the village was under occupation. Recently, according to the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, about a hundred people have lived in Hroha.
