Reference: Augustin Voloshyn (1874–1945) was a Ukrainian political and public figure, educator, and priest. In March 1939, he headed the government of the newly proclaimed independent Carpathian Ukraine. After World War II, he was arrested by the Soviet secret services and died in prison in moscow.
