The documentary film "Valery Viter. Return to the Future" is dedicated to the soloist of VIA "Kobza", artist Valery Viter.
The film tells the story of the formation, success and decline of the ensemble in the memories of journalist Volodymyr Kanash, musician Georgy Garbar, poet Yuriy Rybchinsky and journalist Andriy Kulikov. An interview with Valery Viter is presented, he shares memories of his musical and artistic activities.
Fragments of performances of the ensemble "Kobza" in the 1970s, footage from Viter’s childhood, his performances with the boys’ choir of the October Palace, participation in Sergei Parajanov’s film "Ukrainian Rhapsody" and the performance of "Ave Maria", as well as photographs from the archives of the Viter family are used.
