“One Step Away from Victory”: 90 Years of the Ukrainian Radio Choir

Performing works by Ukrainian composers to lyrics by Taras Shevchenko: “Lord, Lord, by Your Power” by Dmytro Bortniansky, “Water Flows into the Blue Sea” by Boris Lyatoshinsky, “The Wide Dnipro Roars and Moans” by Danylo Kryzhanivsky, “Gamalia” by Myroslav Skoryk, “Passions for Taras” by Yevhen Stankovych, as well as Ukrainian folk songs arranged by Vitaliy Kireiko and Volodymyr Schneider.

The concert featured the Honored Academic Symphony Orchestra of Ukrainian Radio and the Ukrainian Radio Bandura Trio, People's Artist of Ukraine Serhiy Mahera, and international competition winners Ksenia Bakhritdinova-Kravchuk, Serhiy Bortnyk, Tetiana Korobka, and Lyudmila Gornostaeva.

The concert was hosted by Dmytro Khorkin and Galina Babiy.
