Reference: Olena Kulchytska is a Ukrainian artist, graphic artist and teacher, People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. Author of over four thousand works in painting, graphics, carpet weaving and book illustration, which formed the national school of Ukrainian art of the 20th century. She taught at the Ivan Fedorov Ukrainian Polygraphic Institute (now the Ukrainian Academy of Printing), and headed the folk art department of the Lviv Ethnographic Museum.
