Lviv Television, June 17, 1997. The program "In Major and Minor" is dedicated to the composer Yevhen Kozak on the occasion of his 90th birthday.

On the video: Lviv State Music College named after Stanislav Lyudkevych, assembly hall; musicologist Ulyana Petrus tells the biography and creative path of Yevhen Kozak; performance of the school's student choir (director — Oleg Tsyhylyk, concertmaster - Dariya Ivanyshyn), the bandura ensemble of the school and the "Homin" men's choir.

In the concert program: "Song about Lviv" — soloist Natalia Yakymets; Ukrainian folk song "I Would Fly to the End of the World" — soloist Mykhailo Drapak; "Stoyt gora vysokaya" — soloist Yuriy Shunevych; "Hutsulka Ksenya" — soloists Yuriy Shunevych, Adriana Haiduchok, Petro Shveykivskyi; the bandura ensemble of the school (director — Natalia Yakimets) performs the songs "And a girl dreamed at night", "She trampled the path", "They don't let the nightingales sleep"; the male choir "Homin" (director — Oleg Tsyhylyk) performs the songs "My Thoughts", "Oh, there by the valley" and a collection of folk songs "Hey, opryshki brothers".

Reference: Yevhen Kozak is a Ukrainian composer, conductor and teacher, Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. In his work, he combined the features of the academic school with elements of Bukovyna and Boyko folklore, creating choirs, vocal ensembles and numerous arrangements of folk songs. His work is distinguished by its melodism, national intonation, and attention to poetic words.
