Reference: The Peace Cycle Race is an international multi-day amateur road race of the countries of the socialist bloc, launched in 1948. In 1986, the route was "Kyiv — Warsaw — Berlin — Prague" with a length of about 2138 km with 15 stages, the start took place in Kyiv. The winner of the individual competition was Olaf Ludwig (GDR), the team competition was won by the USSR national team.
