Concert to the 60th anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian violinist, artistic director of the ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" Bohodar Kotorovych.
The program includes works by Niccolò Paganini, Felix Mendelssohn and others performed by the ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" and violinists Maksym Stepanenko, Oles Symchuk, Andriy Belov.
Reference: Bohodar Kotorovych is an outstanding Ukrainian violinist, conductor and teacher, People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, laureate of the Shevchenko Prize, founder of the ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" and one of the founders of the modern Ukrainian violin school. His creative activity combined virtuoso performance of classical and modern repertoire, world-class pedagogy and active cultural diplomacy. Kotorovych has educated a whole galaxy of world-famous musicians, glorifying Ukrainian art on the international stage. The maestro is the only Ukrainian who has twice performed on the legendary Paganini violin Il Cannone, specially delivered to Kyiv from Genoa, which became a symbol of recognition of his unique performing talent.
