Reference: "Nocturne" is the last opera by Mykola Lysenko, created in 1912, which demonstrates a departure from folklore and patriotic themes in favor of a chamber psychological opera miniature. The work combines romantic style, symbolist images and stage conventions, distinguished by intimate dramaturgy. The opera is rarely included in the theatrical repertoire, but is consistently performed in the opera studios of Ukrainian music academies.
