Documentary film “The Giant of Chemistry”

The film “Giant of Chemistry” about the industrial enterprise “Chlorvinyl,” its products, and the daily work of its employees.

The video shows: a view of the mountains, the building, the territory and workshops of the enterprise, quarries, trucks, potassium mining, fields, forest, a bus with the inscription “Chemist,” employees, equipment, a meeting room, people at a table, a laboratory, streets and buildings of the city.

Reference: Products from potash deposits in the vicinity of Kalush have been mined since the mid-19th century, and industrial enterprises specializing in this field have been operating in the city ever since. The Chlorvinyl Production Association, named after the 60th anniversary of October, was established in 1975 on the basis of the Kalush Chemical and Metallurgical Plant, the Potash Plant, and the Dombrovsky Quarry. Today, it is Ukraine's leading petrochemical company, Karpatnaftochim LLC.
