Vasyl Prostopchuk: “A cheerful person”

Program “Vasyl Prostopchuk: A Man of Cheerful Disposition” about the poet Vasyl Prostopchuk, his museum-estate “Far from the Neighbor,” where he collected a collection of folk life items and works of socialist realism. The poet talks about the idea of creating such a manor and quotes his poems. Guests of the manor are entertained and treated to refreshments.

The video shows flags, posters, pennants, sculptures of Lenin and Chkalov, fences and walls painted with Soviet slogans and portraits of Soviet figures, quotes from famous poems, the sculpture “Chernobyl Mother,” a monument to the young Shevchenko, and more.

The program features an excerpt from the play “Inevitable” staged by actors of the Volyn Academic Music and Drama Theater named after T. Shevchenko.
