Painting by Yevhen Pavlov

Chernihiv Television. The October 14, 2001 episode of the program “Our Openings” is dedicated to the Ukrainian painter Yevhen Pavlov.

On the video: a museum exhibition with paintings by Yevhen Pavlov, various plans of the exhibition; an interview with the artist, who talks about his work, genre, the subjects he most often depicts, and shares reflections on the comments of the audience.

Reference: Yevhen Pavlov is a Ukrainian painter, the author of easel thematic compositions, landscapes, still lifes and portraits, whose works are distinguished by a balanced plastic language and a consistent development of the realistic tradition. The artist's works are presented in the Chernihiv Art Museum, in particular the famous mosaic panel "Motherhood", dismantled from the facade of the maternity hospital and transferred to the museum funds.
