Reference: Sergey Senyukov is a Ukrainian track and field athlete, high jumper, European champion in 1976 and multiple winner of international matches USSR — USA and USSR — Germany. Senyukov's athletic career includes participation in the Olympic Games, record-setting, and recognition in the United States, where he was made an honorary citizen of Texas. In Chernivtsi, on Nezalezhnosti Avenue, the athlete was honored with a memorial plaque on the house where he lived.
