Concert by the Hryhoriy Veryovka Choir. Part 1

Participants in the concert: the training studio of the Veriovka Choir; the children's choreographic school under the direction of Honoured Artist of Ukraine Maya Avdievska; the Tsvit folk ensemble led by Maria Pylypchak; People's Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Boiko; Honoured Artist of Ukraine Tetiana Borkovska; People's Artist of Ukraine Nataliya Osadcha; People's Artist of Ukraine Lyudmila Klymenko; People's Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Turets; Inna Vakulik.

The following compositions will be performed: ‘Oh, Spring Has Come’; ‘Oh, Red Viburnum in the Meadow’; “Vicharik”; ‘The Fate of the Stork’; ‘Bandurist, Grey Eagle’; ‘Gordiianka’; ‘Oy, ne lita yu, chornaya galka’ (Oh, don't fly away, black magpie); excerpts from the folk operas ‘Kvit paporoti’ (Fern Flower) and ‘Rusalchiny kupala’ (Rusalka's Bathing); the heroic poem “Baida”; ‘Ikhav kozak z Ukrainy...’ (A Cossack rode from Ukraine...); and the dance ‘Gulyayte kozaki’ (Dance, Cossacks).
