Reference: Radomir Silin is a Ukrainian scientist in the field of technology and mechanical engineering, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academician of a number of Ukrainian and international scientific academies, author of over 220 scientific papers. In 1974–2001, he headed the Khmelnytskyi Institute of Consumer Services and the Podillia Technological University, playing a key role in forming the modern structure of the Khmelnytskyi National University. He was the president of the National Committee of Ukraine on Mechanical Engineering and was awarded state and municipal awards for his contribution to the development of higher technical education.
