A television play based on the play of the writer of the "shot revival" era Ivan Mykytenko "Solo on the Flute".

Reference: In Ivan Mykytenko's comedy "Solo on the Flute", the main character, graduate student Hryhoriy Yarchuk, strives to make a career and get married, using adaptability, cunning, intrigue and betrayal as a life strategy. With the help of an “assistant,” he quickly masters the space of the institute and obtains a position, but, guided by the principle of fierce personal struggle, he gradually destroys all human ties. The play is a satire on careerism and the moral chaos of the 1930s.
