In the video, Ivan Drach talks about his life and recites his own poetry. The film includes a performance by a male choir from the village of Beleluya (Ivano-Frankivsk region), performing the songs "Oh, in the meadow there is a red viburnum" and "Many summers".

Reference: Ivan Drach is a Ukrainian poet from the sixties, playwright and screenwriter, one of the leading figures of the cultural and political revival of the second half of the twentieth century. As the first chairman of the People's Movement of Ukraine (1989–1992), he played a key role in the transformation of cultural opposition into a mass national-democratic movement at the end of the Soviet era. Drach's creative output, in particular the collections "Sunflower", "Chernobyl Madonna" and the poem "Knife in the Sun", combines modern poetic forms with acute social reflection and became a landmark phenomenon of Ukrainian literature of the 20th century.
