"Symbol of Faith": Pilgrimage to Zarvanytsia

Reference: The All-Ukrainian Pilgrimage to Zarvanytsia is the largest annual pilgrimage of Christians to the Marian spiritual center in the village of Zarvanytsia, Ternopil region. The shrine acquired a holiday significance in 1867 after the coronation of the miraculous icon of the Mother of God of Zarvanytsia by Pope Pius IX.
