Ukrainian icebreaker "Noosphere"

The video shows the Ukrainian icebreaker research vessel, the flagship of the Ukrainian scientific research fleet "Noosphere" before setting off on the first Antarctic expedition to the Akademik Vernadsky station. The icebreaker in the Odessa port, the Black Sea, the side, the ship inside, full holds with equipment, the captain's cabin, the cook's cabin, the cook preparing breakfast.

Reference: The icebreaker "Noosphere" is a Ukrainian icebreaker-class research vessel and the flagship of the scientific fleet of Ukraine, providing research and logistics in Antarctica, in particular for the Akademik Vernadsky station.

The ship was purchased by Ukraine from the UK in 2021. It previously served in the British Antarctic program under the name "RRS James Clark Ross".
After being renamed and flying the Ukrainian flag, the icebreaker regularly carries out scientific expeditions to the Antarctic and delivers polar explorers and cargo through the Drake Passage.
