Reference: Georg Trakl is one of the key poets of German-language expressionism, whose poetry is distinguished by hermetic imagery, symbolic concentration, tragic worldview, and consistent thematization of death, decline, and the experience of World War I. In Ukrainian culture, Trakl's reception has been shaped primarily by the translations of Petro Marusyk and Tymofii Havryliv, and since the 2010s by the translation and interdisciplinary projects of Maksym Solodovnyk.
