Decision on the falsification of the 2004 elections

On December 3, 2004, the Supreme Court of Ukraine ruled to invalidate the results of the second round of the presidential election and declared the actions of the CEC to establish the results of the second round of voting (at that time, according to the CEC, Viktor Yanukovych won the election) illegal. The court overturned the CEC's resolution of November 24 and scheduled a second round of voting for December 26.
