Explosion at the mine "Pivdennodonbaska No. 1"

On the night of December 9, 2004, an accident occurred at the Pivdennodonbaska No. 1 mine in Donetsk Oblast, resulting in injuries. The explosion occurred when there were 32 miners in the face. One of them was killed, the rest were brought to the surface and hospitalized. Eight are in serious condition.
