Druzhba oil pipeline: start of construction

The unified system of trunk oil pipelines "Druzhba" is one of the largest and most powerful oil pipelines in the world with a capacity of 2 million barrels per day.

The construction of the oil pipeline began on December 10, 1960, and on October 15, 1964, the official launch ceremony of the pipeline took place.
