The documentary film "The Righteous" is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the tragedy in Babyn Yar and the righteous people who saved prisoners during World War II.
On the video: memories of the Righteous of Ukraine about how they saved Jews from the occupying power; fragments of films; photographs of the saved people.

The film uses materials from the Kharkiv Holocaust Museum, the Museum of the Holy Protection Monastery of the Studite Order, the Israeli National Holocaust and Heroism Memorial "Yad Vashem", fragments of the films "Schindler's List", "The Pianist", "With a Camera on the Eastern Front", "The Priest of Majdanek", "Women from Babyn Yar Street".
Reference: Righteous Among the Nations is an honorary title that the State of Israel, through the Yad Vashem institution, grants to non-Jews who, risking their own lives, saved Jews during the Holocaust without expecting material reward. Recognition is carried out by a special commission according to strict criteria based on documentary evidence and testimonies, and the distinguished individuals receive a medal, a certificate and a memorial honor.
