Local history expedition of journalists “Dniester-2003”

Tourism and local history television and radio expedition “Dniester-2003,” in which employees of the Khmelnytsky State Regional Television and Radio Company of various professions and nationalities participate. The 184-kilometer journey stretches from the village of Zhvanets in the Kamianets-Podilskyi district to the Dniester Hydroelectric Power Plant and lasts three days. The expedition participants sail down the Dniester River and study the ecological, historical, local history, spiritual, and social issues related to the Dniester Reservoir.

The video shows the Dniester River, its banks, a boat, a camp, historical and natural landmarks: an old stone grave cross, the Kytaygorodskoye outcrop, a mammoth cemetery, unique plants, rock monasteries, the Monastery of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and the Khotyn Fortress.
