Reference: The Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Plant was built in the interwar period as a key infrastructure facility for industrialization and a component of the energy development of the Dnipro cascade. The second stage of the plant, known as DniproHES-2, became a stage of capacity expansion and modernization hydropower complex, combining updated turbine systems with improved hydraulic solutions.
