The documentary film "Left Bank - Right Bank" is dedicated to the history of the construction of the first hydroelectric power plant in Ukraine — DniproHES — and DniproHES-2 on the left bank of the Dnieper.

Reference: The Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Plant was built in the interwar period as a key infrastructure facility for industrialization and a component of the energy development of the Dnipro cascade. The second stage of the plant, known as DniproHES-2, became a stage of capacity expansion and modernization hydropower complex, combining updated turbine systems with improved hydraulic solutions.
