The documentary film "Swan Song" is dedicated to the ecology of the Swan Islands Reserve in the Rozdolnensky district (now part of the Perekopsky district) of the Crimean peninsula.

On the video: landscapes of the reserve, the nature of Crimea, water bodies, local flora and fauna; a story about the birds of the reserve; reserve workers talk about the environmental problems of the region; the sea.

Reference: Swan Islands is an ornithological branch of the Crimean Nature Reserve, located in the Karkinitskaya Bay in the north-west of the Crimean peninsula. It is one of the most important nesting, wintering and migratory stopovers in Ukraine wetland birds; the area protects over 250 species of birds, as well as rare species of mammals, reptiles and fish and has the status of a wetland of international importance under the Ramsar Convention.
