Reference: The Kharkiv State Theater of Revolution was a Soviet drama theater that operated in 1931–1937 in Kharkiv as a branch of the All-Ukrainian Union of Proletarian Writers. After the liquidation of the Berezil Theater in 1937, it was merged with the Kharkiv Theater of Working Youth, forming the Kharkiv Theater named after Lenin Komsomol. In 1940, the theater was transferred to Chernivtsi, where the Chernivtsi Ukrainian Musical and Drama Theater named after Olga Kobylyanska was formed on its basis.
