Transcarpathian Television. The program "From the Source of the People" from October 20, 1997 is dedicated to a concert program of an old Transcarpathian folk song performed by People's Artist of Ukraine, soloist of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic Society Petro Matiy.

In the program: "Hey, on the high meadow", "Oh, my darlings", "When so and so were sown", "Ivan went to the meadow to mow", "Good thing the scythe mows", "And what kind of man is that", "I will not marry", "Where is the thorn, there is the thorn", "Oh, the blond blond".

The filming took place in the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.

Reference: Petro Matiy is a Ukrainian singer, composer and teacher, People's Artist of Ukraine, a long-time soloist of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic and the Honored Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir. He has gained recognition as a performer of folk, chamber and vocal and stage repertoire, a laureate of artistic awards, and an educator of the young generation of Transcarpathian singers.
