Reference: The dance ensemble "Pokutya" is a Ukrainian amateur choreographic collective, founded in 1963, working in the direction of reproducing and stage interpreting traditional dance folklore of Pokutya, Hutsulshchyna, Boykivshchyna and Western Bukovina. The ensemble's repertoire includes performances of folk dances and ritual compositions created on the basis of field folklore research, ethnographic materials and traditional musical accompaniment.
