The film is dedicated to the activities of the folk ensemble "Pokutya" from the city of Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

In the video: the lands of Pokutya, girls are dancing; the artistic director talks about the history of folk dances of the region. The film features Ukrainian folk dances "Svyatkovy", "Nadnistriansky", "Serbyn", "Koketka", "Gordiyanka", "Trapagun".

Reference: The dance ensemble "Pokutya" is a Ukrainian amateur choreographic collective, founded in 1963, working in the direction of reproducing and stage interpreting traditional dance folklore of Pokutya, Hutsulshchyna, Boykivshchyna and Western Bukovina. The ensemble's repertoire includes performances of folk dances and ritual compositions created on the basis of field folklore research, ethnographic materials and traditional musical accompaniment.
