Johann Strauss II is an Austrian composer, conductor and violinist. A representative of the Viennese musical tradition, who is considered the "king of the waltz". His music is distinguished by its melodic expressiveness, rhythmic flexibility and combination of dance forms with symphonic development, which raised the waltz and operetta to the level of high art.
