The film "Theatre of Hope" is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Ukrainian professional theater created by Mark Kropyvnytsky — the Koryphey Theater.

Reference: The Koryphey Theater is the first professional Ukrainian theater, founded in 1882 in Yelysavetgrad (now Kropyvnytskyi) by Mark Kropyvnytskyi, who formed a national stage tradition under imperial restrictions. Its leading figures included Marko Kropyvnytskyi, Mykola Sadovskyi, Panas Saksaganskyi, Maria Zankovetska and the Tobilevichi brothers, and the style of the theater combined drama, music and folk elements.
