Reference: Meletii Semenyuk is a Ukrainian military and public figure, an officer of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, a participant in the OUN (Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists) underground and the Norilsk uprising of political prisoners of the Gulag. After being released from the camps, he organized the Brotherhood of OUN-UPA soldiers of the Volyn region and was engaged in the memorialization of participants in the national liberation movement.
