Reference: David Burliuk is a Ukrainian futurist artist, poet, theorist and art critic, one of the leading creators of Ukrainian modernism of the early 20th century, known as the ideologist and leader of futurism in the visual arts and literature. In his work, he went from realism to futurism, combining shockingness with national color.
